MY BESTIE

उम्र का फासला हमारे दरमियां यूं तो होगा कुछ वही 60-70 सालों का ,

लेकिन थी वो मेरी सबसे अच्छी दोस्त।

We were best of friends!!

This child happily spent बचपन with her ,

This child found solace in her.

उसके गोद में सिर रख कर रोया भी है

और बेशुमार प्यार भी पाया है।।

वो कहते हैं ना 

आप के दूसरे रूप हीं ,

आपको जीवन का असली फलसफा बखूबी समझा पाते हैं।

Compassion , care , love , integrity , moral values and what not ,,

They bless us with!

यहां दूसरे रूप से मेरा मतलब है GRANDPARENTS ,

आप भी बच्चे होते हो ,

और वो भी तो प्यारे से

बच्चे हीं होते हैं ना।।

उनका और आपका सफर साथ ,

यूं तो काफ़ी कम समय के लिए होता ,

लेकिन बाबू मोशाय

ज़िंदगी बड़ी होनी चाहिए

लंबी नही।

लेकिन हर पल साथ रहने वाले

यूं हीं एक दिन

आपसे रुखसत हो जाए

तो how unbearable it becomes

That no one else can understand.

Yes! Today , my best friend is not with me physically ,

But she's with me

"within me" (in my ❤️)

We still share the same room , the very same bed

And yes sometimes I do talk to her , in my paracosm...

Only she knew how much I loved her and only I know , how much she loved me. This bond is Beautiful (don't try it figure it out , it's our thing❤️). It's pious , it's peaceful , it's a bliss.✨

I am hers or rather say ,we're each others ... till eternity and beyond.

PS I have spent the most goody goody memories of my life with my dadi , my bestie which I will "happily cherish" for a lifetime. No regrets , just blessed!! Nostalgia striking hard , okay byeee!
